Power outages
Call IPL: Be sure to report your outage if you haven’t already. If you are an Indianapolis Power & Light customer, call (317) 261-8111 or (888) 261-8111. IPL officials said Sunday some customers could be without power until Tuesday.
Around the house: If your neighbors have power but you don’t, the problem could be stickier. Check your circuit breakers or fuses to determine whether the outage is a result of a household problem. If those are fine, the connection to your house on the conduit “masthead” above the electric meter may have been damaged, especially if a tree or limb hit your line or the power line near your house. You have to get that fixed by an electrician. If you are unsure, ask IPL
